Who We Are

Kalisimbi Kiwieds Coffee (KKC) is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@kalisimbikiwieds.coffee or by post at KN 8 Ave, Gasabo, Kigali, Rwanda, P.O. Box 1028.

What We Collect and Why

When you send the enquiry form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, company and country, the reason for your enquiry, any coffee preferences you select, and your message. If you choose “Careers / Join the Team”, we also receive what you tell us about yourself.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange samples or quotes, and to consider applications. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to the people who contact us, and on taking the steps you ask for before entering into a contract. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who Helps Us Handle It

• Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Google hosts our email.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from abuse, which involves technical information such as IP addresses.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
• YouTube (Google), only if you choose to play the film on our home page.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK and Rwanda, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep business records for as long as the law requires. We keep job applications for up to six months after the role is filled.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The film on our home page is hosted by YouTube, and nothing is loaded from YouTube until you choose to play it. If you do, YouTube may set cookies and collect data on your device under Google’s privacy policy.

When you choose to play the film, we remember that choice on your device, in your browser’s local storage, for six months. You can change it at any time in Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict or stop using it. Email hello@kalisimbikiwieds.coffee and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to This Notice

We will update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
